This is quite a busy weekend for the Southern part of the Jersey Shore too. Here’s what you can do if you take a trip down the shore this weekend:
First of all, the Irish Fall Festival returns to North Wildwood, from Friday to Sunday! It’s the largest and best Irish fall festival on the East Coast and it will turn Olde New Jersey Avenue green for the 19th consecutive year. It’s celebrating Irish heritage with dancing, music, food, vendors & crafts, daily from 8am – 11pm.
Next door, in Wildwood Crest you’ll have the Sunset Lake Seafarers Celebration on Saturday. It’s the Crest’s signature event of the year, a fun-filled free event for the entire family! Dozens of arts and crafts vendors, large variety of food, live music and lots of family and children’s activities. You’ll see action at Sunset Lake in the morning and at the Centennial Park later in the evening.
Also this weekend it’s the Margate Fall Funfest, Two full days of excitement featuring a variety of entertainment activities, including a juried show of fine arts and crafts, fabulous gourmet foods, live musical entertainment, educational exhibits, carnival games, Ray Scott’s Dock “Wetlands Wonderland”and the 14th Annual Dog Show held at Steve & Cookies By The Bay .
The Boardwalk Corvette Show is coming to Ocean City on Sunday. Over 350 Corvette cars will be displayed on the Boardwalk between 11:30am-4pm. The autos will date back to the Corvette’s first model in 1953 and extend to the present.
