More than 20 Restaurants to Participate in Seasonal Wine and Food Samplings
Red Bank Flavour and the Red Bank RiverCenter are inviting Garden State epicureans to take culinary tours of Red Bank this summer and fall with the return of the popular Red Bank Flavour Food and Wine Walks. The monthly tasting tour is slated to kick-off at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, 2014, with wine and food samplings at more than 20 participating venues throughout the borough.
The Red Bank Flavour Food and Wine Walk encourages foodies to enjoy sample the borough’s unique culinary offerings. From fine wines and eclectic desserts to tapas, sushi and more, the diverse selections offered at each participating venue will keep guests’ taste buds tempted. The diverse roster of Flavour restaurants also affords participants the opportunity to visit different eateries and bars on multiple walks.
“The Red Bank Flavour Food and Wine Walk is made possible by our town’s diverse restaurant community. We are thrilled to collaborate on events like this; it is a great way to raise awareness of Red Bank’s culinary offerings, and gives foodies a chance to experience all of Red Bank’s flavours,” commented Valerie Aufiero, owner of Front Street Trattoria.
Venues participating in the Red Bank Flavour Food and Wine Walk include: The Bistro at Red Bank, The Boondock’s Fishery (July & August), Brannigan’s Bar & Grill, Carlo’s Bakery, Carter & Cavero, Char, The Cheese Cave, The Chowda House, Danny’s Grill & Wine Bar, Dish, The Downtown, Earth Pizza, Front Street Trattoria, Gaetano’s, Jamian’s Food & Drink, Jr.’s, Lil’ Cutie Pops, Mac Attack Cheesery, The Melting Pot, Pazzo, Readies Café, red, Siam Garden, Sicilia Café, Sugarush a Sweet Experience, Teak, The Bistro at Red Bank, The Wine Cellar at Red Bank and Whipped Bites.
Additional Red Bank Flavour Food and Wine Walk dates will be held on Sunday, August 17, September 21 and October 19. Each walk is scheduled from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. and tickets are $35 per person, cash only. Interested parties can purchase tickets at Danny’s Grill and Wine Bar, Teak, and Char starting at 1:30 p.m. on the afternoon of each Food and Wine Walk.
