10 Best Events and Festivals at the Jersey Shore in June 2017

With summer weather already here, the month of June brings a lot of outdoor festivals and other cool events to the Jersey Shore. So here are the Top 10 best family events at the shore in June 2017:

June 3: Cape May Harborfest. Home to region’s most popular restaurants, pubs, sights and activities, Schellengers Landing will serve as host to Harborfest 2017. This year’s event will feature five separate venues, each with its own unique focus, and each with its own line-up of activities, vendors, food and music.

Hop Sauce Festival Beach Haven LBIJune 3: Hop Sauce Festival. Slather everything from fish tacos to sliders in an array of tasty hot sauces and wash it down with a fine selection of hand-crafted beers. Then dance with your new and old friends to original music just blocks from the Atlantic Ocean in Beach Haven, LBI.

June 2-4: Ocean City Flower Show. See beautiful commercial and amateur displays at the Music Pier, Moorlyn Terrace & Boardwalk.

June 10: Atlantic Highlands Classic Car Show. Classic cars line 1st Ave, 10am-4pm. Plus vendors, 2 stages with live music, shopping, food and more!

June 10: Tuckerton Seaport Privateers & Pirate Festival. Learn the difference between privateers and pirates and then be one. Pirate history, authentic and make believe plus a treasure scavenger hunt, games and a duel. Live band, Grog Garden and tasty food vendors.

Race of Gentlemen Wildwood EventsJune 10-11: Race of Gentlemen. Vintage auto (pre-1934) and motorcycles (pre-1948) will compete in an exhibition style beach race at the waters edge at Spicer Ave in Wildwood. Saturday features races from 10am-6pm with live rock ‘n roll all day. A bonfire and beach party will take place on Saturday night from 8pm. More beach racing on Sunday.

June 14: Jersey Shore Fashion Show. Jersey Shore’s premiere summer fashion show returns to Bar Anticipation in Lake Como, from 6pm. Come see the hottest fashions from the Jersey Shore’s boutiques and designers, represented by all local models. Tickets $15, 20% off in advance online.

June 14-17: Miss New Jersey. Boardwalk Parade (June 14th), preliminary competitions, and the finals at the Music Pier.

June 24: Beachstock. 13-hour, non-stop celebration of summer, featuring exciting activities, great food, shopping, and live music.

June 23-25: North Wildwood Italian-American Festival. Annual celebration of Italian-American heritage, food and music held on Olde New Jersey Ave. Authentic Italian-American foods, vendors, FREE live entertainment, dancing, kids games, celebrity appearances, meatball relay races, Little Miss Italy contest, olive tree signings and more.
