As many of you go to the beach this month, here are some outdoor festivals and cool events you can enjoy at the Jersey Shore. This is our Top 10 best events down the shore in July 2017:
July 4: Oceanfest. Biggest Independence Day celebration anywhere in New Jersey, on the Long Branch Boardwalk. 10am-10pm with vendors, bands, exhibits, food, and fireworks.
July 4-8: Atlantic Highlands Fireman’s Fair in the Municipal Harbor, with games, rides, food, & good ol’ fashion fun! Fireworks on July 7.
July 8: Wildwood Crest Sand Sculpting Festival. On the beach at Heather Rd near the Beach Pier, from 10am-2pm. Featuring an amateur sand sculpting contest, amazing sand sculpture designs by ‘Can You Dig It’ professional sand sculptors, live music right on the beach and more.
July 7-9: NJ State BBQ Championship & Anglesea Blues Festival at 2nd and Olde New Jersey Ave in North Wildwood, and surrounding pubs. Experience the best in Barbeque & Blues. Live cooking demonstrations, incredible food and top regional and national blues acts on the free main stage.
July 12: Pink Concert on the Atlantic City Beach. Exclusive East Coast performance which will take place right on the beach.
July 15: FilmOneFest. Popular free 1 minute film festival screens short films under the stars. Enjoy crafters, food vendors & more at the Atlantic Highlands Harbor, 5-10pm.
July 15-16: 13th Annual Celtic Festival at the Historic Cold Spring Village in Cape May. Celebrate traditions of the Celtic Highlands with live entertainment-music, dancing, crafts, beer pavilion and more.
July 22: Night in Venice. Ocean City‘s annual boat parade is one of the largest in the world. Starts at the Longport Bridge to Tennessee Ave. along the bay.
July 25: Toms River Summer in the Street Festival on Washington St. Live entertainment, street performers, free kids games, inflatable rides, face painting, handcrafters, food vendors and more.
July 28-30: Asbury Park Visionary Tattoo Fest. Three days of nonstop live tattooing, tattoo contests, live music, midget wrestling, burlesque, side show, live human suspension, the 5th annual Miss Asbury Park Pinup Contest, after parties and much more at the Convention Hall.
