Blue Mountain Resort is gearing up for their 3rd festival of the summer, catering to beer lovers. This year’s Beer Fest will be held on Saturday, August 26th and Sunday, August 27th from 12p – 5p each day. The resort will bring samples of over 100 craft brews from 61 local and national breweries.
Jughandle Brewing Co., the popular Monmouth County based brewery, turns 1 year old and several special events are taking place leading up to their big anniversary weekend on June 17th and 18th including a pig roast, a limited-edition bottle release, and over 14 craft beers available including several small batches.
On Monday, March 6, two shiny new 15 barrel fermenters will be arriving to help Jughandle Brewing Co. keep up with strong demand for their high-quality craft beer. The popular Monmouth County based brewery has only been open for less than 9 months, however has already greatly increased the number of tasting room beer taps to 24.
Jughandle Brewing Company and Booskerdoo Coffee are teaming up to produce craft beer made with fresh roasted coffee. Jughandle Brewing, which opened its doors to the public last month on Asbury Avenue in Tinton Falls is partnering with Booskerdoo Coffee, a certified organic coffee roaster, which has 5 locations in Monmouth County.
Owners Pete Artherholt and Mike Skudera of Tinton Falls and Chris Hanigan of Red Bank are ready to open the doors of Jughandle Brewing Company to the public for tours and tastings. The craft brewery, which is located at 4057 Asbury Avenue in the Tinton Falls Centre Plaza, will be open Saturday June 18th from 12 to 8 p.m. and Sunday June 19th from 12 to 8 p.m.
