Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson NJ opens for the season on April 1. This month’s events include the Easter Egg Hunt, food truck festival, biology day and much more.
With the April 1 opening of Six Flags Great Adventure fast approaching, the park will host entertainment auditions and a job fair this weekend to help fill 4,000 available positions for the 2017 season. There are entertainment auditions on Saturday, Feb 11 and a general job fair on Sunday, Feb 12.
Love is in the air as Six Flags will attempt to break the Guinness World Records title for most couples kissing under the mistletoe. This national event across seven Six Flags theme parks will take place December 10, 2016 at 5 pm ET. Guests can participate locally at Six Flags Great Adventure’s second-annual Holiday in the Park, which is currently running weekends and select days through Jan. 2, 2017.

At Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson NJ, riders will use Samsung Gear VR powered by Oculus headsets to battle demonic creatures in Rage of the Gargoyles, a fully-integrated Virtual Reality (VR) coaster experience. This highly-anticipated, totally immersive adventure will debut on Skull Mountain, the park’s indoor, in-the-dark coaster, during Fright Fest beginning September 24.
Guests can go for gold this summer at Six Flags Great Adventure during the first Summer of Games. Running nation-wide at all Six Flags theme parks, guests can indulge with internationally-inspired foods, purchase Six Flags exclusive patriotic apparel and try to win gold-level prizes in the company’s first midway games competitions.
